I believe that trust is a vital part of the relationship between an author and his/her audience. While the mini-lessons alleviated much of the lacking of background information, the reader still needed to know some of the general history of Russia and the USSR to completely comprehend the work. I did enjoy it over all, though at times it got to be a bit too much for me. This is about the little extra that will turn your toon into a campy classic monster.Essentially a book like this would be perfect for a young artist or child who is still trying to find their own style and just wants to learn a few things about how to transform their doodles ever so slightly.I pretty much already have my own little style of cartoons that I've gravitated towards which is pretty simple but I do like trying out new things or just improving my drawings in any way I can and often times the smallest changes can make a big difference. The Snake Eye Killer's breath is on them, his eyes seem to be everywhere, his reach unstoppable. You can't put a price tag on it.. I loved this book because it succinctly deals with the "heavy" to
