I did enjoy it over all, though at times it got to be a bit too much for me. I will be the luckiest on the day my wife realizes this is all for real and she can break her wall down that I forced her to build for protection.I found the book at the Regina public library and after reading it, I needed to buy a copy for myself so I could use it for support for the rest of my life. This was a gift for my Goddaughter she loves to "read" it and now her little brother is enjoying it too.. Although the first part of the book that deals with the different scenenios of Pilate's history is a bit tedious, as a whole, Ms. At first I thought I wonder if you just kind of get used to everyone having this box above their heads counting down their life. This is #19 in a series, and while it can be enjoyed on its own, you should at least read the previous book, "Inside Straight", as most of the characters are introduced in that volume and it can be hard to keep up.The other thing you should know is that this is completely different from GRRM's "A Song of Ice and Fire."
