This book is "Letting Go of Anger" is both educational and practical. Cranach's illustrations of Revelation (and there are many) come in just behind Durer's famous woodcuts from Revelation as the best known illustrations of that book in the Bible. With an Ashly's insight, and after having read LeBon's The Crowd, Ullel's Propaganda, and Patrick's The 10 Commandments of Propaganda, the scales fell from my eyes. While working on a software project that would be released in multiple countries, I started thinking about the issues that arise when developing international software. Wallace captured the essence of that company's founder, Leo Burnett, only four paragraphs into her writing stating, "I believed the success of our brand, and any brand, was about respecting and loving our customer base". Even opening up email anymore, feels like I'm getting blasted and sold to from every direction. Reid is very good at describing the political and sociological frameworks that governed the attitudes and responses of the plant administration, and the Soviet emergency response system as a whole, in the immediate aftermath of the explosions that destroyed the reactor.Subsequent chapters deal with the approaches taken to provide medical care to the survivors of the accident; the immediate political repercussions of the disaster; and the massive cleanup effort required to seal off the hazardous remains of the damaged reactor. The book's final third deArden Neisser's classic on American Sign Language (ASL) is again available, with a new prologue. The Other Side of Silence chronicles the culture and issues of the Deaf community through telling interviews and research from across the country. This seminal book reveals the warmth, creativity, and resilience of Deaf people, and culminates in an update of the community today.. In widely varying encounters, Neisser heard Deaf individuals recall how teachers suppressed the use of ASL in the school, how linguists fostered conflicting theories, and how various institutions diluted ASL to suit hearing patrons
